Question backup of win xp

you can surely understand me cuz win xp is so expensive i really dont want to use my original cd but so far my copy dont work perfectly
can you give me some advice on how to make a perfect copy so that i can stop using my original cd

i used nero to back up my windows xp cd.
works fine no problems

You may also consider to create a copy with SP1 integrated in the
install process. Have a look here:
