which is best dvd burner for me to buy?
been researching this forum for info on which dvd burner to buy and it seems that ive narrowed it down to two. i plan on using it to make backups of my ps2 games and dvd's that i own. are the Pioneer DVR-A05 or the Sony DRU500A the best candidates for the job.. ???

pioneer is tried and tested by many on this board.
sony is fairly new out, it probably does the job too. personally, would go for the pioneer hope this helps

I've got the new Pioneer A05 and it works PERFECTLY for PS2 games and dvd movies also.......
The Sony is not a bad burner and it also works for the ones mentioned, BUT I have NO NEED for the +R/RW format..... I would go for the Pioneer....
