Grand Theft 3...need help

For some reason I cant see any writing in the game, its all blanked out. I'm running it on XP and have installed the official patch but to no avail. Other than that the game is running fine.

Godamnit, its this question AGAIN.

Read the Readme file that came with GTA. Problem and fix explained in there.
