I'm new to the forum so please bare with me if this has already been posted. I want to know how I can take my dvd player, plug it into my computer and then how to record just the audio to a cd.

Any information would be valuable. Thanks

hi i'm new too, but if i wanted to do that , i'd get a TV-in card, turn off my mic and setup my "Creative Recorder" to record what i hear, it will take as long as your dvd plays, but it is a sure thing and a lot less hasle if you've got a dvd drive on your com already, hope this helps you, i don't know what programs you've got so i can't realy help that much, but this i know, you can't rip a dvd or cd if it's comming in by a TV-in card you can only record, maybe someone knows how to, but not me
