1 to 1 of fifa 2003 problem
even time i try to do a 1 to 1 copy of fifa 2003,i keep gettin the same problem.disk 2 will not load the game all i get is:
testgame has encounted a problem and will now close.on a closer look it says the error is:ERROR SIGNATURE APPNAME FIFA2003.EXE APPVER 1.00.1 MODNAME ~DF3946.TMP MODVER 0.0.0.0 OFFSET 0002AA4E wot does this mean and how can it b sorted cheers

It's due to the Safedisk 2.8 protection as I believe DF3946.TMP is a safedisk file.
There are instructions on backing up SD 2.8 using Diskdump and Burn-at-once, search the forum and you'll find it straight away. Or you could get the new Alcohol 120% which is capable of backing up Safedisk 2.8. Also, ur burner may not be up to the job. Have a look at the supported writers page at www.elby.ch and check to see if your burner has two sheep in the EFM coding column.

my writer is fine i have a liteon 32123s,i havent had any problems backing up safe disk before.have they changed it.

You are correct, your writer is fine, but Clone CD is unable to copy Safedisk 2.8.
Use one of the methods suggested above.

Is my cd writer fine for copying safe disk 2.81?
I have an MSI 48X16X48 cd writer (ms-8348) and am having problems trying to copy fifa 2003.
I can copy it fine and can install the game but when I come to insert disk 2 it crashes and states that the error is DF3946.TMP. Now I guess that this is to do with the safe disk 2.8 copy protection. Im using cd clone version 4 and am also using clonyxxl. Now what I want to know is this.... 1) Is my cd writer able to copy the latest games that has safedisk 2.8? 2) Is it better than the Lite On or is it the same? 3) Any suggestions on how I can copy the fifa disk 2?
