What is the best cdr to use when burning
Is it alright to use 700mb cdr's Is burning at 1x better than burning at higher speeds And does it matter what colour die is use at the data side of the cd eg blue I use nero Thanks for the info Liquidus |

the very best cdr for psx in my opinion is verbatim dark blue bottomed but they can be expensive!
i usually use unbranded cream top cdr's with a light blue bottom,try to avoid cdr's with gold/green dyes as the psx does not like them! 700mb cd's r fine. i always read and burn psx games at 2x,if u burn faster then the str(streaming video) can be jumpy and sound can be really choppy! try cdrwin or clonecd instead of nero but keep nero for emergencies! |

I use the cheapest media I can find.
I read at MAX speed and burn at 4x and never have any skipping. 700 mb are fine, i've never copied one over 700. I like my cd bottom to be blue or white ( like an audio cd). CD colour won't make too much of a difference IMO. |

I burn my pSx games at 8x and have never had any problems.. im talkin over 300+ trials 1-8 speed no big differance only time spent twiddling thumbs
