PS1 Help for PS2
Can anyone tell me this when you play ps1 games on the ps2 can you save them .I do have mem card but various games I have tryed keep saying insert mem card check mem card I tryed to email sony but nothing they want u to buy but dont have good after sale service replys would be appreciated thnxs

I'm almost certain PS1 games can ONLY save to PS1 memory cards.
Don't quote me on that.

That is correct..... Just insert a PS1 memory card into your PS2 and save away......You just cant use the PS2 memory card to save ps1 games...

Thanks for the replys people I new somebody could answer my question I sent email to sony about a week ago and still waiting if the ps1 mem fits ps2 why do thy sell it seperate?

2 Different Format..It's like asking why can't we play Sega Saturn games on the Dreamcast when they run off media's? B/C physically looks the same but they're actually 2 different formats..
Or how about using PS2 memory card on a PS1 machine? Every hardware is made for different usage on different machines.
