Alone in the dark patch for usa version?

I just downloaded the alone in the dark 4 patch for disc swapping, and wanted to know if it works just for the pal version. it's name is gen-afix, from genius.

i image if theres no patch it will work, just burn of the first 2 discs for now to test it
