In your review of the Apple chip, what did you mean by "The chip deliverately garbles the Playstation2 logo (like Origa) on backups and puts it into "gravure" for originals."?

I can answer this one, I think.
The "Playstation 2" screen on my apple-modded PS2 will sometimes be off-color. Usually varies from game-to-game. It's not really a big deal though. |

The Apple people have either borrowed origa's code to scramble the logo for legal reasons, or they've scrambled the logo for legal reasons. One of the things you can do with wires A through I and some data in the smaller IC.
