Nero and CloneCD installed together?

Hello all,

everywhere I read one should not install 2 Burning Progs togther but on the other hand all PC mags write about how great CloneCD is but I don't want to just clone CD's I want to (like most users I guess) occasionally clone and otherwise burn with Nero ... does anyone know if these 2 progs get along with each other?

Thanks!

i have clone, nero, disk juggler and cdrwin all
on my pc together,if the conflict all you need to do is turn of the auto insert on your cdrom drives, this stops the disks trying to auto boot while your trying to copy stuff,

As long as you dont try to use ccd and nero at the same time you should have no trouble!
the biggest problem software is adaptec(now roxio) i.e. easy cd creator...!!!!!
it assumes that it is the only program installed and screws up all other programs!
but also you can download a boot menu maker (from neros download page) which allows you to choose which program you want to every time you ####t your computer...

Easy CD Creator 5.01 and CloneCD 3.0.5.1 installed together no problem. You must disable the Easy CD Creator and Direct CD from loading when booting up. ####t---Run---msconfig---####tup, un-tick both Easy CD Creator and Direct CD. Typical heavy handed approach by Roxio to load both upon bootup.
