I was told that you can sometimes use a gameshark to boot backups, does anyone know if there is any truth to this?

yes you can i do it all the time i have gs 3.5 cdx. to play a back up start the gs select start game without cheats or with cheats if you want to use cheats. then you have to find something to hold down the psxs swich so it thinks the lid is closed. the small ones swich is in the front by the open button and the big ones swich is in the back and after you get the swich held down the disk will start to spin slow at firts then faster when it starts to spin faster take out the gs disk and put in the backup it works for me

No, the 2.4 can't be used, InterAct only made one version that woud allow it but they pulled it so fast no one has one and I think its a 2.3 in which you used the CD player to get it to boot up.
Any Goldfinger, Game enhancer, game hunter etc will work. |
