My Gameshark does not load!!!!!!!!!!

I just installed a USB modchip into my playstation2 and original games work as well as my momory cards, however my gameshark does not load. Everytime i put my gameshark it takes me into the brows screen and then it reads the disk and it says eror reading disk. I have tried 3 different game sharks, but they all do the same thing. i don't know if i made a mistake when i installed the chip. My playstation2 ia a US version 4.

Please help me out and thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!

Try reflashing the dongle by restarting the console while holding R1,R2,L1,L2 and start.

Bro that did not work. I get this messege that say's "Discet read eror" or "disk Read eror". Do you know anything else?

Try to load a PSX backup, If it loads then the install should be correct... Also be sure the mod is turned off when trying to load the GS2.

I herd that some gameshark versions do not work on all playstation2's. The gameshark i got is the newest version.
