I have copied Diablo 2 using CloneCD, but still my system will not read from the disc. I think Diablo 2 has SafeDisc protection. Could someone help me pls ... I'll be grateful.

diablo II has "securom new" protection... reading & writing subchannel data must be supported by your reader/writer to make a working copy of it. in case of diablo II, only disc 2 (play disc) is securom protected, disc 1 & 3 aren't protected.

Thanks, but ...
Thanks for that info ... but where do I find a way to crack that 'new securom' lock on the Diablo 2 disk?

you search. the game has been out long enough to have an expansion - which also means its popular. im sure u can find info about securom new if u search. or i could go find it for u, unless u need your pillow fluffed.......

if your burner cannot write sub channel data, try to create a fixed exe yourself with unSecurom. this program requires the original cd to create an unprotected exe... you can also use a crack (check GCW and Megagames)
btw, the securom protected file is game.exe, not "diablo ii.exe". |
