Hey. I'm trying to create a backup cd for Fifa 2002 (not world cup 2002), yet I know I cannot create a perfect backup, THUS I would like to make a copy of the CD with the fixed .EXE already on the CD. Do I just copy the original CD onto my HD somewhere, then make a new directory anywhere on the CD (lets say FIXED-EXE), add the file, then burn it with the same label? This should technically work correctly, should it not?

Yes you are correct
Alternatively you could replace the file in the first place rather than creating a new directory on the cd so when you install using the copy, the new exe is installed. This saves you installing the game then replacing the exe's. It is a good idea to create a new folder on the cd with the *original* exe for patching purposes. You have the correct theory
