Help needed please

Please help, I just ran a bootdisc on my ps1 which seamed to go fine to start with, after about 4 mins it restarted the machine to the Sony splash screen so I presumed it was finished went to take disc out but before I could the ps1 just switched off (power still on but nothing else) I have tried switching off and back on checking connections etc but with no joy.

I just get nothing doesn't seem as if it is even spinning.

Sounds like your drive has died.

A boot disk shouldn't take four minutes to boot up.

Don't know what to tell you.

check transformer first m8 u say power is on do u get any power to psx at all ?
