I am a novice at this and need help. I am using Nero 4 and trying to make backup copies. The games copy fine but I cannot play them, even with a serial number. Can anyone talk me through it please. I have tried to copy the sims and red alert 2 but with little joy. Is it really so difficult. How do I use the crack and serial number to make them work. Please explain in simple terms.

Are you copying from cdrom to cdwriter? If you are, copy the image of the original to your hard drive, run disc defragment and then copy the image to your cdwriter. Could be file fragmentation that is causing your burning problem. Also, be sure you are writing in "RAW" mode. 8-)
