What Xbox Chip Shall I Buy

I have looked at all the various Xbox chips for example the Enigma, Messiah X, X-ecutor and Xtender and they all seem to roughly have the same features. So which one do I buy? Can anyone out there help? Also I live in the UK so can anyone please tell me what are the best places to order from.

Thanks ;-)

I have enigmah which is great, but second generation chips are way better and x-ecuter seems to be the best i've seen to date especially for newbie who never soldered before, the makers of this chip recons that chip can be installed in FIVE MINUTES.

Thanks for the comparison chart it was just what I needed, although it doesn't compare the Enigma or Xtender. I really don’t mind about the installation as I have a professional who can do the job as he installed a Messiah chip into my PS2. Having a Messiah chip for my PS2 I thought I’d buy the Messiah X but I can’t really see any benefits the chip offers compared to the others.

PS. where did the TitanX and Pandora come from? are they clone chips?

Thanks anyway redwolf.

go for xtender OVER the messiah.

The xtender is a complete replacement bios, that means when you wish to flash the internal bios and it goes pear shaped (if) the xtender will save your bacon as it will boot the xbox even if you trash the onboard, you can then try again. The Engimah is a hot patching (injects code) mod and it needs the existing chip to always work.

If you flash the onboard you can always xtender 1,2,3,4,4,222222 etc etc on the onboard, just update when a new one comes out KNOWING that you're covered if the flash fails... the only thing is the wire count, but as your not doing it its not an issue..

just my 2p worth

Thanks for the info, but I think I'm going to wait this Friday for the X-excutor. I heard that this chip is going to rock. And sorry to say it but it sounds a lot better than the Xtender although I can’t say anything until its lying in my Box . What do you think from what you have read about the X-ecutor AmirKhan?
