I am trying to make a backup copy of my Warcraft III CD in order to play across the LAN. GameCopyWorld shows that War III is protected with SecuROM v.2. Does this mean I need one of the SecuROM patches to back the game up?? If so which one should I get?

get a burner which can burn SecuROM v 2. then burn it with SecuROM v 2 burning capable profile, CloneCD is recommended....

or

just get any fixed exe from GCW. then you are able to play with any backup disc, even those disc which lost the SecuROM v 2 protection...

Thank you for your advice. I have one more question. Does it matter which version of Clone CD I should use? And do I just need the demo or the full version? Thank you again.

I use Full version of CloneCD 4.0.0.1.

A suggestion: use the Virtual Crack from gimpsRus, easier...

I believe the demo version will work, but who wants to wait several hours for a job that the full version can do in under an hour assuming your burner will do it in under an hour.
