hey (soz if this is in the wrong section)

i wanted to backup my winxp cd....i made an iso but if i copy it during the install it says it cant read some files

i tried copying the iso with nero (i get errors) and with cdrwin and fireburner it can even read the cd =/

i have a liteon 48x12x48

The disk has no protection - the errors you get are due to either a damaged cd or a bad read/write.

Try reading and writing at lower speeds, with more read retries, and don't burn on the fly. Also try to carefully clean some of the dirt off the cd.
