MorroWind crashes

ok guys i need help wit this one...

I have morrowind installed Version 1.0 with a no-cd crack...(cuz I mah CD-Rom is screwed....need a new one)

the game starts and plays fine..but all of a sudden like 20 mins into the game it work just close....no warning nothing.


Also if possible do anyone of u know how i can improve the performance of the game...it's really jerky....

I have an ATI all-in-wonder 128
and a P3 running @ 650
288 MB of ram..

running on win XP pro...

I've set the resolution @ 640x480 already doesn't help much

I bought morrowind the day that it came out and I had the same problem that you had, the game would either freeze, restart my computer or close the program without warning and go to the desktop!
here are a few things to try
1. updated videocard drivers
2. updated soound card drivers
3. updated motherboard drivers

and onething about your computer, I would install a differant OS or get a better processor because win xp takes up a lot of processing power and RAM.
