DVDx 2.0 - auth.dll problem

Ok, I still get this problem that whenever DVDx starts up, a message box comes "auth.dll, drive may not be locked". I just ecently formatted my computer and reinstalled dvdx also, no message box right away. But when I reinstalled aspi drivers, this message box came up again. Is there a special way to install everything?

Make sure you have downloaded and install the aspi drivers from adaptec. Then restart after installing them. put the dvd disk in your dvd rom and then open your dvd playing software eg: power dvd 4 xp. start playing the dvd then quit the program after 5 seconds. Open DVDx -> OPen IFO and then you should not get the message, well it worked for me in DVDx 1.8
