Memorex 80min media and overburning?
I imagine these are pretty common in the U.S. -- Memorex 80min, 40x, blue packaging, slimline cases, white cd fronts and silver dye, $6.99 (was it?) for a 10-pack. They seem the standard deal at the CompUSA near me. Has anyone tried these for overburning? I gave it a shot, using Nero (with the appropriate options checked) and a Memorex CRW-1622 (supposedly does overburn). Nero said the media could not hold that much data. But the amount I tried to burn, 714MB, seems relatively conservative, so if the media can take overburning at all, it'd seem it should be able to do that much. Has anyone tried these, or heard about them?
Thanks for your help!! |

You can download Feurio and it'll simulate burning an amount of data as far as it can and tell you how much the disk can be overburnt
