Cool cd doping

I have installed on my computer cdclone and a HP CD-writer plus, 8200 series, will this cobo work to copy pstwo games?

According to www.elbe.de the HP CD Writer + 8200 is fully CloneCD compatible for PS2 purposes.

tried to use clonecd last night, didn't get anywhere, kept telling me that the cd was empty? the game is acecombat. has there been any problems with the copying of that game.

Isn't Ace Combat a DVD-Rom format game? If so then there is your problem. CloneCD is for CD format games only.

I'm new to this and thats what I think it is, I was asked if i could back up ps2 games. I geuss that i can but only some.

Your in the same position as me, I have a cd-writer only which means cd-format games or dvd ripping. As most of the games now are in dvd-rom format think about getting rid of your cd-writer and purchase a dvd writer such as the Pioneer A03 or A04 with prassi primo dvd burning software.
