Arrow cdr / cdrw

I used a sm-308beb cdr, with the same outcome as my LG GCE 8320B cdrw... Both, had the same outcome of asking to insert cd when I try to boot them up.

you have got to be joking

a mod-chip lets you play your backups because no cd burner can write boot sectors and a mod chip by passes the check

all games require a mod chip, or something that functions the same way as a mod chip, in order to let the system read the boot sectors. anyways, charlieps2 and dust2dust are 10x better than us hosers, go post in the ps2 forum
