Neo 2.2 chip

I have the option of getting my PS2 chipped with the Neo 2.2 chip for £35 - is this worth it?? if not, does anyone know of anywhere in anglsey/north wales that I could get it done???

NEO2.2 won't boot import originals - a pity if you want US games before they come out here.

If you do go for NEO2.2 ensure there is a capacitor between pin 2 and the board so as to put off the day when your laser eventually fries because the NEO2.2 puts 5v out onto a 3.3v circuit.

35 pounds is steep....check lik-sang.com and you can get it for like $20 US...check it out
