Generic tools are utilities that auto-remove commercial protections like SecuROM and SafeDisk, the most popular being Unsafedisc (original by R!SC (RIP), new one by Cirkutz and waste_me). To use them, find out what copy-protection your game has (95% Safedisc, 4%SecuROM) using ClonyXXL. Find out what copy protection it is, ill tell you what you need to do next then.
Daemon is short for Daemon Tools. It "plays" a CloneCD image like it is a real CD, so you can play the game from HD without crack.
