Question about Lite-on 24x10x40 (24102B)

I am trying to update the firmware, but it says it cannot locate the firmware. It can only detect my hard drives. I am running an Abit VP6 board with 2 60GB RAID 0 and 1 45GB drive as a slave to one of the 60 giggers. Any suggestions? The burner burns just fine and fast, but I want to update the firmware. Thanks in advance.

I have updated firmware on both my hp9110i CD writer and Pioneer dvd-116. It is usually done in DOS. You can find your current firmware for you drive in Control Panel, System, Device Manager. Click on your drive and select Properties. It will be there under Settings........ Try this site for updated firmware..http://www.firmware.fr.st/
