Lightbulb software to use to back up cds

hi im wondering looking throught this website i can only see help when wanting to back up your cds using nero and win this doesnt really help me as i have a samsung cd/wr sm-308b and the software i use is primodvd.

if i install nero on certain game lists it says set the speed to 1x i cant do this because my cd writer is new and faster than this so any ideas on how to work this one out? cause i really need to back up all my cds cause they keep getting scratched
