you can use a program called recordnow MAX which is very similar to Primo DVD in the sense that it creates a GI file (Global Image)
then you can burn this file from your hard disk to copy the game. media is dependant on where you are based. if in the uk then try www.bigpockets.co.uk they have some dvd-r media there for only £1.40 per disc. and they work as i use them. on some games the movie fmv skips but that is not really a major problem as this happens with more expensive media aswell. DVD-R media
WHOA ! $7 dollars for one dvd-r! Compared to the price of cd-r that is expensive but if you think about it......
CROTCHBUSTER GAME RENTAL $5.99 DVD-R $7.00 With a game being $50 what are you complaining about? Afte shelling $400 for the dvdr why would you care about spending $13 dollars for a game. If you have the right equipment and media you can make a working copy in one attempt. Let's face it no one here is backing up discs they own and if you did buy all that stuff to back up your OWN games then you have enough money to buy a $7 dvd-r. The price will eventually go down due to the nature of technology. Either wait or pay the man.
