I've burned many *.CDI isos (using cdi2nero and nero). These CDR are autoboot and work very well on my dreamcast. But all the CD I've burned with CDRwin (*.bin) which are not selfbooting, don't work. I put my utopia CD copy (version 1.1), the reeinder appear, I put my CDR, and the reeinder becomes metallic and my game never goes on. Do you think this problem could be linked to the copy protected dreamcast models ?

I've got no ideas, but since your selfboot games work, why don't you try to make your non selfboot game selfboot ???
Or maybe you should try a newer version of utopia boot disc... |

If you still have the images, just use BIN2BOOT to convert them to CDI and then burn using Disc Juggler (or then convert them to NRG using CDI2NERO and burn with Nero).
If you don't have the image files anymore, you can try to create an image by copying the disc to image using CDRWin or to an ISO using another compatible program such as Easy CD Creator. Maybe BIN2BOOT will still work for you. You can find BIN2BOOT at http://dcxeal.virtualave.net/b2b-cdda-b1.zip |
