V5 no-solder, compatability
Lo all
Can ya tells me what is the V5 no-solder mod chip compitiable with and what not. Im talking about the disks cos I heard some certain types of discs do and dont work... Im mainly gonna be buying games and not burning them myself and Im just worried I'll get them and they wont work. Cheers peeps

DVD rips will work as long as they are 640mb or less.

American v5 PS2 owners are screwed at the moment. I do not recommend any chips by NEO,(yes they work but they suck), Origa isnt compatable yet so that doesnt leave alot of alternatives. Sad to say this is the only mod that doesnt damage the PS2 laser so its probally the best mod for this console at this time provided you have a dvd burner. Hopefully in the near future our british friends will release a messiah or a(clone) that is compatable with this console. Until then we will have to be patient
