Does the following release need to be patched?

I burned it to try and am getting the call 1-whaterver screen.

It depends on what you mean by patched, it is copy protected and you would need a gameshark type device to get by the protection unless a patch is available that does that.

i dont think that there is a patch for that game yet but i heard that if you burn a boot cd like ps-xchange and have a mod chip. you can use the boot disk like a game shark so you can enter codes to get by proctection.this is just what i heard all it will cost you is a blank.(worth a shot if you ask me)
