Question Help me Charlyps and dust2dust

Hello, I have a 35001 V4 with mod neo 2.2 and GS2 V2.0 and have problem to play DVD-R BACKUP ????.
How do you play Dvd-r backup and what is the metod you should you use.

PAL PS2 Consoles DVDr Booting Method


We can confirm that all NEO2.x owners using an AR2 v1.7 / 1.9 on a PAL console can boot DVDR games with a double swap with no patches and no problems


1) Turn on the ps2 with AR2 1.7 (holding down the ON/RESET)
2) Select Start Game (Still Holding ON/RESET)
3) Press EJECT (while still holding the ON/RESET button) and swap AR21.7 with DVD original
4) Press EJECT to close (Wait 10 seconds)
5) Then select WITHOUT CODES. Wait until disc stops
6) Now let go of reset and the tray comes out, Swap DVD original for a backup DVDR press X
just as the tray starts to go back in (IMPORTANT)



NTSC USA PS2 Consoles DVDr Booting Method

We can confirm that all NEO2.x owners using an GS2 v1.7 / 1.9 on a USA NTSC console can boot DVDR games with a double swap with no patches and no problems


1) Turn on the PS2 with GS2 / AR2 V1.7 or 1.9 (holding down the ON/RESET)
2) Select Start Game (Still Holding ON/Reset)
3) Press EJECT (while still holding the ON/RESET button) and swap GS2/AR2 with Boot DVD
4) Press EJECT to close (Wait 10 seconds)
5) Then select WITHOUT CODES. Wait until disc stops
6) Now let go of reset and the tray comes out, Swap Boot DVD for a backup DVDR press X just
as the tray starts to go back in (IMPORTANT)



JAP PS2 DVDR Booting Method

You need DOA2 original JAP DVD game and Neo 2.2 jap version intalled

Insert original DVD

When playstation logo appears press reset when it reboots should eject, although some times takes a few attempts

Insert backup n play



AR2v2 boots DVD-r's

Load AR2 V2 keeping Resetbutton pressed
- Select Action Replay Codes
- highlight Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX2 Code
- press START
- press EJECT and insert Original-TOC-DVD
- wait 10 Seconds
- now press 'X' on with Codes and 'X' once again
- Error-Message appears: 'Too many Codes'
- original TOC DVD stops spinning (thx, Datel *g*)
- now perform EA Trick (release Reset-Button) & insert DVDR Backup
- press 'X' to confirm Error-Message
- now press Circle twice to enter Mainmenu again
- START GAME, without Codes, press 'X'
- Codes are getting actualised
- DVDR boots

1)boot ar2 keep reset pressed.
2)select ar codes.
3)highlight dave mirra codes.
4)press start.
5)eject & insert orig dvd game & wait 10 secs.
6)press x on with codes & x again.
7)error appears too many codes.
8)orig dvd stops spinning.
9)now perform swap trick release reset & insert back up.
10)press x then circle twice to return too main menu again.
11)select start game without codes then press x.
12)codes will actualise & dvdr will boot.



Devil May Cry Jap Boot Method

Boot the game as normal as below,as soon as you see the 'THIS GAME CONTAINS' etc press the START button several times to skip the intro otherwise the game will crash.
