Different version of PS2?
I opened my PS2 to check the version, and mine does not look like any of the visuals I've seen so far. The battery is on the end of the metal case, plus my expansion bay has a metal frame attached to the cover, and there are no screws shown.
Anyone have an idea of what version this could be? Thanks for your help! |

When did you bought it. I heard that sony has a version 6 now so maybe but if it is not a version6 and there are no screws in the expension bay it could be a version 3. Howmany screws are on the bottom of your ps2. If there are 10 screws you have a version 3

there is no V6. v6 is what the v5 with the changed reset cable port was labeled, but it still runs under v5, and except for that change is still identical to the v5.
