I'm not an expert here, and I hope my attempted reply kicks someone else in who knows more. But ...

This could be a digital sound problem of not having the sub-channel data to hand because the reader couldn't pick it up or something like that.

HI,

Just adding to what Charlie has said, i used to have FMV and sound skip on my PS1 when i used to use cack media, so many people agree and disagree with me on this but all i did was change to a decent media (Verbatim) and i never had this problem again.

Does the original game play okay???

i recommend you try and make a backup using CLONE CD and see what happens, and then post your results, including media used, writer used and software used etc etc.

Have you made sure you have all the right boxes checked in CDR-Win and CLONE CD when you make your backups???

check out www.psxcopyworld.co.uk to double check your settings.

Cheers

Dal
