backup prb

hi, everybody, i'm new in this forum.

Probably someone can help :

I'm using a ps2 v4 pal with neo 2.2, but all the backup i made are not working : i use a action replay v2.01, when i lanch them with EA methode, i just have a black screen and nothing happend. I probably don't do the good manipulation, but i don't know what (i use rip kit or tutorial). Do we have to modify the Sles dvd check when we have a neo2.2 ?? because i always remove them and my problem seems coming from this !!!

dvd checks have to be removed.

have you tried normal backups from cd first, or does nothing work at all?

thanks for your answer, but what do you mean by 'normal backups from cd first' ??

i try use 2 differents methode :
*boot on AR2 cd 1 /playgame/withoutcode/i put my backup and X ===> it's not working it hang on the AR screen
*the same but with press power button during all the boot and when i'm in the screen 'put your cd and press x' i realese power button +insert my backup and press X ======> it's not working the cd is loading but it stay on a black screen.

I meant using a working disc image from the net or doing a 1:1 copy of a cd based ps2 game (blue bottom) instead of trying a dvd rip.
if those don't work either, something else is wrong.

yes it's working when i backup a blue one (disc compact° but not when i rip one
