PS2 backups freeze up :)

I just had my internal Neokey 2 modchip installed, and am running Gameshark v2. There are a few games I am having problems with... hopefully someone can help me!

I can't get NHL 2002 and Extreme G Racing. Both games spin for a really long time after the Game Shark asks you to insert them, and nothing shows up at all. Those are both backups I have bouht from someone... all of the other games I got from them work great.

I also got Jak and Daxter and NHL 2002 (again!) from someone on hotline. Apparently they use the "Knife" method and have had no problems running these two games. When I try to load them, my PS2 freezes up, and I can't do anything. I burned both of these myself, using Disk Juggler or CDRwin. I did not have any problems/error messages either. I used the method to burn these.

What boot method are U using to boot the games?

What media is being used?

I am Not sure about the jak and daxter rip but the other 3 games you mentioned require ea patch if using a v5 PS2 or any chip that doesn't support the ea tray swap method.
