Still doesnt work?

i have downloaded the italin job patch and ppf o matic pathing program. I used cdrwin to create and image of the italian job, in a folder on my desktop. I extracted the zip program and patch to this same directory. I used the ppf-o-matic program and it reported that the patch had been succesfully applied. i burnt the image to a blank cd-r and put it in my psone but it still froze on the loading screen! i tried another copy but this time i put the cd image, patch and ppf-o-matic in different folders but this didn't work either.

Is it cus i got a PSOne?

Please help

Question

Hi m8ty
Have backed up italian job (uk/pal) and used clone cd and it works fine.It was only a few weeks later that i found that the game had protection on it ,so i patched it with cdrwin and it works fine also.
Now i don't know if you are using a 'cracked' version of cdrwin or just a evaluation version, but this program is heavily protected against piracy and if so will just write coasters.
The other prob could lie in the disc you are trying to back up,if it is scratched or so on,also you haven't said what reader and r/w you are using, because if they will not support raw mode96 or reading of sub-channel data your just gonna make more coasters.
Try www.elaborate-bytes.com and see if you cdr/rw is compatible(100% that is)and look in cdclone when you run it to see if you are able to do the above etc.
Sorry so long winded, but hope it was of some help
