Tribes 2 IP 2 IP patch HELP!!!!!

Does anyone know how to correctly use the Tribes 2 LAN patch that allows you to specify an IP address. I've downloaded the one from gamecopyworld.com for v24834, but I can't get it to work. I also found one from CLASS, that had 2 files: ip2ip.bat and GameGui.cs. I followed those directions, but still had no luck. If anyone knows how to get this up and running please help a fellow gamer out. A link would be nice if I'm using the wrong program.
