Booting...anyoneelse have snags..??
I used to be able to place my AR2 disk in my ps2, switch on and hey presto....boots to menu screen no probs...
Now, whenever i place the disk in, it fails to read it about 99% of the time......takes me ages to play a game.....anyone help...???? Ive bought a new disk, but this didnt cure the problem and ive just cleaned the laser with one of those cd things........

I'd say your laser was shot or need recalibration.
What's the PS2 region and version? What's the modchip? What's the history?

its a neo 2 mod chip and its a british bought one....
thing is, it plays my origanal disks ok & first time - its the ar2 disk it seems to have snags with !! - no ar2 disk - no play my ps2 backups...!!!
