hey nightstalker, i see that you really know allot about the mods for ps2.... do you think you can give some info on what the best mod chip is for ps2 version 1... i am looking for dvd-r backup availabilty...thanks...

I would go with a Origa-chip or a neo 2.2 along with Region-x. Dont waste your time with USB mods, they do not support dvd-r backups.
