a patch for Medal of Honour that works

I was very pleased to see that a patch could be found at the GCW site a few days ago but when I tried it the game at first started perfectly untill i wanted to start a new game. The program wanted to go online and tried to make a connection. It didn't succeed so i stopped the internet connection but now my mouse only appears (and acts) as an arrow. Everything works but the mouse.

After that i tried to go on-line first and than started a new game and it worked perfectly but it is a little costly because of the telefone connection.

Is there someone who has a wroking patch for Medal of Honour or could tell me what i must do in order to play the game without going on-line ?.

Strange enough, the patch i downloeaded from GCW is not available any more on GCW.
