PLEASE HELP! Settlers4 nocd doesen't work!

When I use the Settlers4 v1.12.916 no-cd .exe, the game starts (to the menus) but then when I try to start a campain or singleplayer game, it demands a cd... If anyone has a solution PLEASE HELP!

run "setup.exe" to start the install.
do a "User-Defined installtion", and only install the "Game" component.

once installed apply the Settlers 4 Update

copy the "S4_Main.exe" over the original found in the
"Exe" directory where the game was installed to.

___you may only need to do this____

in the installed game directory create a new folder named "S4",
and in that directory copy the "Map", "Snd" and "Video" directories
from the Settler 4 install directory/cd
(not from the directory where the game was installed to).
