nhl 2002 copying or cracking?

i need help either to crack or to copy nhl2002

i borrowed it off a mate and he needs the original bak soon. it is the english version and i have tried megagames , gamefix and morpheus for a crack but the never work and i still get the same insert cd message wen i try to play without the cd. i havent tried to copy it yet but i think it is safedisk 2 protected and havent been too luky with copying that sorta protection b4. i have a plextor 16/10/40 a cd writer and have all the usual copying proggys (clone cd and nero etc) n e suggestions ....i am DESPERATE!
