i recently changed from 56k modem to broadband cable connection. when i was using my 56 modem, me and a friend would play halflife together, i would create a game and he would filter and find me or vise versa. since i changed to cable, we have not been able to create and find each other. could anyone tell me why that is? i have exchanged ip's with him and also pinged but when pinged it failed. i am not behind a firewall niether is he but i dont know if it might be that i am using a proxy server??????? ive no idea really. my email is
