do you want to decode the audio for any reason other than just to master to audio CD?

I have a concert on DVD and would like to extract the audio so that I can burn it to an audio-cd. Is that possible? How?
Thanx in advance.

Go to www.digital-digest.com were they heve tones of software and advice to do this job (it's realy quite easy). Otherwise just play your DVD and feed the output signal into your sound card stereo or s/pdif input and record real time via a wave editor or something like that. If you get stuck email me [email protected].

use DVD2AVI as it will extract the audio ( and you can either extract a specfic track or downmix to 2 channel stereo ), from there it will be one big audio wav file at either 48 or 44 khz ( you can specify on extraction ), and you can edit or chop with your favorite sound editor ( I prefer Sound Forge 5.0 ).
