DVD Rippin

I am thinking of getting a DVD drive for my pc and i wanna be able to rip dvds with it. Does it matter which one i get and if so can someone recommend a good one? Also is it hard to rip the dvds cause i my computer isnt exactly top of the range. I've got a p2 300mhz with 64megs of ram and a 6 gig hard disk. Can someone advise me?

Hi m8 if you are getting a dvd drive make sure you buy one that is (RPC1) region free otherwise you will be limited to the type of disc you can rip and with regards to your H/D think more in the region of 20 gig a single rip can be anywhere upto about 7 gig before you have even tried converting to an mpeg stream.

Hope this helps.....
