ONI problems

hi guys
last time I copied the oni directory (745 MB) of a friend an wanted to play it with a patched *.exe on my pc. but the game isnt playable. because after the videos the screen is in a very high res that my monitor doesn't support. in the startup.txt there's a voodoo5 installed but I have got a geforce2. how can I setup the game without the cd? can sb send me his startup.txt or the config file?
