Diablo 2 -No cd help

Hi.
I just got diablo 2, and I wanted to play it woithout the cd, for lan games and such, so I came here(game copy world) to get a patch or whatever to make it possible.

I go and download- "Diablo 2 v1.05 (v1.0.5.0) [ALL] No-CD/Fixed EXE"
The instructions say "Install the game - Full Installation (~ 1.5 GB)."
"Apply the official Diablo 2 v1.05 Patch"
"Replace the original GAME.EXE executable with the one from the Patch Archive"
"Copy the following file from CD#2 (PLAY CD) to the game directory

2MUSIC.MPQ "
and
"Play the game!"
I did the patch, and the D2Music.mpq to the game directory, but what does it mean "Replace the original GAME.EXE executable with the one from the Patch Archive"?
Do I replace the regular .exe with the patch .exe?
I downloaded a file from there that was called "diablo2nocd105.rar" what am I suposed to do with that?

Also the same thing with UT wich I alsojust got. It has just about the same instructions,
install patch-replace exe with one from the patch archive. I downloaded A zip file with that has an UnrealTournoment.exe.exe, file_id.diz, and evc.nof. I assume The exe.exe file is the one I replace the origonal with, but what are the other files?
I am not going to try it yet because I don't want to screw it up. I still need help with the diablo 2 no cd thing.

First you should apply the newest Diablo 2 v1.05b insted of Diablo 2 v1.05 patch... then go to www.gamecopyworld and download the diablo2v105b NO CD crack by dARWIN... follow the instructions..... (repalce the original Diablo 2 game.exe whit the game .exe from the crack). It will work fine, it does not matter if you have the english or spanish version.

Thanks coba, but that is what I downloaded from darwin, was the "Diablo 2 v1.05 (v1.0.5.0) [ALL] No-CD/Fixed EXE" when I downloaded it all it was, was "diablo2nocd105.rar"
It is a weird file, I tried to open it with wordpad to see what it was, and its just a bunch of code and weird stuff that I don't really know about. AS for an exe, it didn't come with one to replace it with. just that .rar file.
BTW I installed the patch for UT and it works with out the cd, so I don't even have to mess with any hacks or cracks or anything with that, but I still need some help with the Diablo 2 thing.

I went to look for the v 1.05b but the only ones that were there were german ones, will that still work?

Im going to go try it anyway. Thanks for your help coba, I will come back if it will not work after this. sorry about all of these pots, they should have an edit\delete button like runegame.com forums.

The german thing only has .rar files too!
What do I do with .rar files?!

files with the extension .rar are files created with winrar.

So you have to find the program winrar (I believe you can find it on the mainpage of gamecopyworld)
install the program (then it's best you reboot)

now double click on the .rar file and it wil open, now unrar the files to youre harddisk and use the files as described (it works the same ass winzip
