Monkey Island 4 Problems

OK this game is 2 CDs and i extracted one disc and burned hte other. Extracted disc 1 and burned disc 2. I was thiking that i could install from the Hard Drive and when it prompted me to enter CD #2 i could just do that. SImple huh? Ahh but here's where the problem kicks in, i got through installing 50% of the game but when it asked me to insert disc 2, i did but when i clicked on the button Yes that Disc 2 was in, it didn't work and asked me for the disk again. Now i really want this game so can someone please tell me how to fix this and make it recognize disc 2? Or a way to bypass this such as editing the code of the installtion to find it? Or another solution to the problem?! Please help,. i desperately need it. All help is welcomed.

You will have to burn disc 1.
When it asks for disk 2 it is expecting to find it in the same place that disc 1 was installed from.
